While we were in Maui for Lindsey and Jake’s wedding we met up with one of my (Jon) friends from Colorado. London is a photographer/coffee specialist now living in Maui and working at a coffee bar in Kaanapali. She was a great contact on the island to have, as she scouted locations for us to check out for the wedding we shot and even better yet she became our personal guide around Maui for a couple of days. We explored the Hana Highway along the eastern and southern coast of Maui and ended up at one of the most amazing camp sites in Haleakala National Park. Thankfully we arrived just in time for sunset, which gave me a chance to fire off some shots while the ladies put up the tent. I felt bad but hey, someone has to get the shot. The next morning we all got up in time to watch the sunrise and walked over to the seven sacred pools for a morning swim. The rest of the day we ended the loop around the southern coast, passing by many more gorgeous views and a cool little fruit stand where I had to peddle a bike to blend my smoothie. It was a great trip and thanks to London for the adventure and amazing Maui stories!

This is a cool little camera London let me borrow. Which reminds me I still need to get those images from her. It’s a Digital Harinezumi

I had to include some shots of our snorkling sail ride to Molokini crater

Love the pictures! Great work Jon (and Jenny, sweet tent moves). One day I’ll have to post some of my Hawaii pics too! (Although, now I don’t want to after seeing yours 😉

Thanks everyone. One of the best feelings is waking up on the edge of a cliff looking over crashing waves with your best friend.
