Here is the second half of our European trip. From Venice we took a train to Florence and then to Rome. From Rome we flew to Amsterdam for a few days and then onto London.

The picture on the left is impressive but hey I have skills too.

We took a day trip into San Gimignano from Florence.

We stayed with our relatives in Dorking, a beautiful town one hour outside of London. Plus, the home we stayed at was next to the largest vineyard in England.

This past fall Jenny and I spent several weeks traveling Europe together. It has always been on the bucket list of things to do together so it felt really good to cross this one off the list. First up was Venice and Greece.

How can you say no to this giant meringue.

I felt like a pro riding my donkey. One hand taking pictures and the other hand holding on for life.

Lacey + Blake Comeau’s Kelowna Wedding

Last year we photographed Lacey + Blake’s engagement session and observed two things: Lacey loves to laugh and Blake loves making her laugh. Turns out their wedding day was much of the same. Jenny started the day with the girls getting ready at their house while I hung out with the guys as they got ready at Shea Weber’s house, a groomsman and captain of the Nashville Predators. Lacey + Blake said “I do” at the beautiful Cedar Creek Estate Winery in Kelowna, BC on a hot and sunny day in mid July. We later spent the afternoon photographing these two and their star studded wedding party. Blake and his groomsmen have been friends since they played hockey for the Kelowna Rockets, now Blake and most of his groomsmen play in the NHL. Lacey and her girls have also been close friends since they were little and have had a lot of fun along the way! These two later met their guests for a beautiful dinner at The Harvest Golf and Country Club under a tent full of crystal chandeliers, luxury decor and a warm summer breeze. We are so blessed to have been able to work with Lacey + Blake over the last year. These two are such beautiful people both inside and out. We wish you two nothing but happiness in the future. Kendal’s 6 month session

I know it’s a winter wonderland outside right now so I’m hoping this post will warm up your spirits. Here are some of my favourites from a warm summer session I had with Kendal and his family a few months ago. I am always amazed at how fast babies grow from newborn to six months of age! I first photographed Kendal as a newborn last February so I was excited to get to see his little personality shine through during his 6 month session. Enjoy.
